The problem with this approach is we instantly put negativity into it and become very attached to the outcome of said event.
Ironically most things begin to happen when we bring ourselves back to the present moment, distance ourselves from trying to control the outcome and channel our energy into the here and now.
So, this week, why not try to bring your focus back to you right now and release any frustrations or anxieties about the future. Then watch what happens …
