Let’s push things forward …

As Mike Skinner from The Streets once wisely told us “let’s push things forward’! It’s a new year and a new chapter in our lives where we can choose to stay the same or make some changes. Your social media pages were probably full of quotes, hint and tips (and the odd joke) about starting a fresh, making this year YOURS and other inspiring thoughts. However, at this time of year we can sometimes feel pressured into making BIG practical changes like quitting smoking or going on a weight-loss diet, but how many of us actually see these through? Hats off to you if you have but I do wonder if something a little more simple and internal could serve both us and the world we live in?

What if we all simply chose to be kinder to one another? How would that feel? To have a list of new years resolutions that look something along the lines of:

  1. Smile more at strangers passing byNYD blog
  2. Lay of the criticism of yourself and others
  3. Lend a hand to help someone out purely because you can
  4. Drop the judgement
  5. Talk less, listen more
  6. SLOW DOWN – make time for the laughs, the smiles, the hugs, the thank you’s and the silence

Maybe these kind of resolutions would help us connect more with one another and in turn allow our own spirits to grow?

Life can be hard, sometimes we all feel down, but wouldn’t it be much easier if you knew that we were all working with each other rather than against?

So, for 2015 I want to promote love and support for everyone … especially those you don’t know so well. You just never know what’s behind a closed-door unless you try to open it …

Wishing you an abundance of love and kindness for 2015,

Kirsty x

  1. Hi Kirsty,
I am interested in your course on the 7Chakras, but not so keen on coming in February-dark nights etc! I was wondering if you were likely to run the course again in the Spring?
I would be grateful if you could let me know,
    Many thanks,
    Anne-Marie
